Your abilities matter here

Volunteering with a disability at the Resource Collective

At the Resource Collective, we believe in the power of inclusion and the unique value each individual brings. Our supported volunteer roles are designed to empower people with disabilities by helping them build confidence, develop practical skills, and feel meaningfully connected to everyday working life.

Our program offers a structured yet flexible environment tailored to highlight each person’s strengths, interests, and capabilities. From creative projects and hands-on sorting to community engagement and charitable initiatives, every day is filled with purpose, learning, and enjoyment.

This is more than just volunteering, it’s about making a lasting impact, fostering personal growth, and creating a true sense of belonging.

Non-disabled volunteers will have the chance to support the Programme Coordinator in a hands-on environment, helping with sorting, painting, crafting, and mentoring tasks.

You’ll experience meaningful contribution through teamwork and learn how an inclusive learning environment functions, all the while building strong connections with our wonderful assistants.

Whether you’re sharing a special skill or just lending your time, you’ll become part of a kaupapa that champions environmental responsibility and social inclusion.
